SIOUX CENTER, Iowa\u00a0 (UJ) <\/a>—<\/strong>\u00a0The Dordt University Defenders racked up 668 yards of total offense and found the end zone on its first six possessions in a 66-13 win over the University of Jamestown football team Saturday afternoon.<\/p>\n Jamestown, 0-2 overall and 0-2 in the Great Plains Athletic Conference, hosts Morningside (Iowa) College in its home opener next Saturday.<\/p>\n The Defenders also had an interception return for a seventh touchdown and added a 43-yard field goal for a 50-6 lead as time expired in the first half.<\/p>\n Cade Torgerson<\/a> (JR\/Billings, Mont.) connected with Steven Justice<\/a> (FR\/Henderson, Nev.) on a 60-yard touchdown pass with 5:05 in the half for the Jimmies’ first touchdown of the season.<\/p>\n Torgerson threw his second touchdown pass of the game in the fourth quarter, finding Sidney Luna-Long<\/a> (JR\/Pasadena, Calif.) for a five-yard score with 7:19 to play. He ended the day completing 10-of-18 passes for 113 yards and was intercepted twice.<\/p>\n Justice and Javon Bowie<\/a> (JR\/Sacramento, Calif.) each had two catches while Ryan O’Brien<\/a> (FR\/Murrieta, Calif.) was on the other end of a 31-yard pass from Matt Chauvin<\/a> (SR\/Paradise, Calif.).<\/p>\n Josiah Cage<\/a> (JR\/Bloomington, Minn.) led the running game with 31 yards on five carries, including a long of 24 yards.<\/p>\n Justin Six<\/a> (JR\/Steele, N.D.) and Manuel Najera<\/a> (SR\/Los Angeles, Calif.) finished with six tackles each.
