(NDDOH)\u00a0 The North Dakota State Health Department reported Friday morning, that the Thursday COVID-19 statistics showed Stutsman County with 98 new positive cases.\u00a0 Total positives since the start of the pandemic are 1382, with 399 active cases, and 973 individuals have recovered.<\/p>\n
Earlier Friday:\u00a0 \u00a0Jamestown\u00a0 (CVHD)\u00a0 \u2013 Central Valley Health District reports that the community should expect\u00a0another large number of positive reported Friday when released by the North Dakota Department of Health at 11am. \u201cApproximately half of the positive cases are located in a congregate living\u00a0setting, while the remainder are attributed to community spread,\u201d reported Robin Iszler, Unit\u00a0Administrator.<\/p>\n
Izler wants to remind the community about the recent city orders enacted by the Jamestown City
\nCouncil which includes the requirement of masks by employees in the retail and service
\nindustries. Additionally, all businesses are urged to require face coverings of the general public
\nwhen entering the establishment. Also enacted was the requirement of a safety plan to be
\nsubmitted to the City of Jamestown for any large event of 50 people or more.
\nGovernor Doug Burgum announced yesterday that Stutsman County has been moved to the
\n\u201chigh risk\u201d orange category in the COVID-19 North Dakota Smart Restart Plan. Guidance
\nincludes that at this level of risk that all gatherings and events should be held at 25% capacity,
\nnot exceeding 50. The same capacity guidance is also given for bars, restaurants, and food
