COVID is running rampant here and all over the world.\u00a0For quite awhile we were spared the larger numbers of infections affecting areas around us.\u00a0It was as though we were insulated, but no longer, we are in the middle of it.\u00a0Practice the safety measures; you know them.<\/p>\n

Friday Governor Burgum held a Press Briefing.\u00a0\u00a0Superintendent Johnson shared procedures being utilized in the VCPS to slow the spread.\u00a0Procedures being utilized by the \u201cVCSU Team\u201d are similar and are slowing the spread as well.\u00a0I share that because the two institutions seem to have the lowest numbers of positives per capita in Valley City.\u00a0That said our \u201ccommunity\u2019 and its \u201chouseholds\u201d are our worst spreaders.\u00a0We who are outside the educational institutions would likely reduce the spread if we\u2019d utilize the procedures schools are.\u00a0People in schools Mask-UP religiously.<\/p>\n

In an effort to help clarify, the Valley City Commission amended its Emergency Order to match the Governor\u2019s Order.\u00a0The orders are to protect us, let\u2019s respect them versus challenging them.<\/p>\n
