News Jun 21, 2013) &#8212; Update&#8230;A\u00a0prisoner who escaped from the Barnes County jail, on Thursday afternoon (Jun 20, 2013 has been found and taken into custody.<\/p>\n<p>Barnes County Sheriff Randy McClaflin says Kidd Jr. was taken into custody on Friday June 21, 2013 at\u00a07:45 p.m.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0Matthew Hayes Kidd, Jr., was spotted at a farmstead at 4:00 p.m. fleeing on foot.<\/p>\n<p>He was\u00a0found in a shelter belt\u00a0two miles north and\u00a0one mile east of Fingal, \u00a0spotted by an individual \u00a0passing by that area.<\/p>\n<p>McClaflin\u00a0adds, \u00a0Kidd Jr. was taken into custody without incident.<\/p>\n<p>Kidd\u00a0 Jr. is in jail on a domestic assault charge.<\/p>\n<p>Assisting the Barnes County Sheriff\u2019s Office in the apprehension were the Cass County Sheriff\u2019s Office and the North Dakota Highway Patrol.<\/p>\n<p>Previously&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>The Barnes County Sheriff\u2019s Office reports that a prisoner escaped from the Barnes County jail, on Thursday afternoon (Jun 20, 2013.)<\/p>\n<p>Authorities say the male subject, 26 year old Matthew Hayes Kidd, Jr, is described as 5 feet 11 inches tall, and weighs 180 pounds.<\/p>\n<p>He has brown hair and blue eyes with a scruffy beard.<\/p>\n<p>He was last seen wearing orange jail pants, and he has ties to the Valley City, Devils Lake area.<\/p>\n<p>Authorities say he is not a danger to the public, however residents are asked to keep their doors and windows locked, to eliminate access to buildings.<\/p>\n<p>Anyone with information is asked to call the Barnes County Sheriff\u2019s Office at 701-845-3110.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Valley City, ND (KCSi-T.V.
