UJ At Jamestown<\/a><\/p>\n Jake Huculak<\/a> (FR\/Jasper, Alberta) recorded the ninth hat trick in Jimmie program history, but it was not enough as Jamestown lost 5-3 to Dakota College Bottineau Wednesday night at John L. Wilson Arena.<\/p>\n The Lumberjacks took the early lead just 4:06 into the game as Riley Olson scored on an assist by Bubba Strain.<\/p>\n DCB made it 2-0 at 8:48 of the first on Blake Carpenter’s goal, set up by Tanner Clyne and Phil Parisien.<\/p>\n Huculak answered for UJ 32 seconds later, taking a Nathan Cohen-Wallis<\/a> (FR\/Canmore, Alberta) pass and beating goaltender Matthew Trulsen to cut the lead in half.<\/p>\n Tyler Pringle’s goal at 10:52 of the second period gave the Lumberjacks another two-goal lead, but Huculak struck again at the 11:32 mark to make it 3-2. Jed Butler<\/a> (FR\/Mazama, Wash.) and Cohen-Wallis assisted on the goal.<\/p>\n Huculak completed the hat trick at 9:42 of the third period, tying the game at 3. The shorthanded goal was assisted by Carter Johnson<\/a> (JR\/Meeteetse, Wyo.).<\/p>\n Pringle broke the tie 30 seconds later, giving DCB a 4-3 lead, then Joben Smith added an empty-net goal with 43 seconds left to round out the scoring.<\/p>\n
