Lindsay, in spite of her illness, maintained academic honors throughout her college career.<\/p>\n<p>Her hobbies included scrapbooking, blackjack, bingo and golfing. Lindsay was an avid Vikings football fan and had the personal opportunity to meet her favorite player, Adrian Peterson. She had a special gift in relating with children. She loved cooking, baking, spending time with family and friends, and winter vacationing in Arizona with her Grandparents.\u00a0 A highlight for Lindsay was socializing with the clientele she served at City Lights Supper Club in Valley City.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/csinewsnow.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/07\/candlesauer.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-medium wp-image-25964\" alt=\"candlesauer\" src=\"http:\/\/csinewsnow.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/07\/candlesauer-300x206.png\" width=\"300\" height=\"206\" srcset=\"https:\/\/csinewsnow.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/07\/candlesauer-300x206.png 300w, https:\/\/csinewsnow.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/07\/candlesauer-254x175.png 254w, https:\/\/csinewsnow.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/07\/candlesauer.png 445w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a>Lindsay has been a loyal daughter, sister, friend, employee and coworker. She always had a smile on her face no matter the obstacle. She was an inspiration to all throughout life\u2019s journey.\u00a0 She persevered with a positive attitude. Many people will remember Lindsay wearing her purple hat and bright smile. Lindsay had a special place in her heart for her medical team that cared for her throughout her seven year battle with cancer.\u00a0 Her sister Kelsey meant the world to her and held a special place in her heart. She appreciated Kelsey\u2019s patience, love, strength and understanding throughout her illness.\u00a0\u00a0 Everyone will remember Lindsay as the girl that had faith and class and could do it all to achieve and overcome.<\/p>\n<p>A prayer service will be held Sunday July, 7<sup>th<\/sup> at 7pm at St. Catherine\u2019s Catholic Church in Valley City.\u00a0 Visitation will be held from 4-7pm at the church.\u00a0 The funeral mass celebration will be held Monday July 8<sup>th<\/sup> at 10:30 am at the Church. A burial ceremony will follow the service at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Sanborn, ND.<\/p>\n<p>Lindsay is survived by her parents Mike and Kari Sauer and sister Kelsey.
