This week is \u201cEducators\u2019 Appreciation Week\u201d.\u00a0Thank you teachers, cooks, custodians, counselors, paraprofessionals, aides, administrators, administrative assistants and all who contribute to education in our area.\u00a0Your personal investment in our youth is greatly appreciated.<\/p>\n

The COVID-19 vaccines are safe and effective.\u00a0Please give full and honest consideration to having yours:\u00a0https:\/\/www.cdc.gov\/coronavirus\/2019-ncov\/vaccines\/keythingstoknow.html?s_cid=10496:covid%2019%20vaccine%20information:sem.ga:p:RG:GM:gen:PTN:FY21<\/a><\/p>\n

Our CCHD has vaccine on hand and will take walk-ins to be vaccinated.\u00a0For your convenience, call ahead, 845-2059.\u00a0Knowing you are vaccinated will provide a \u201ccomfort\u201d for you as well.<\/p>\n

More and more people are our enjoying the freedom of outdoors.\u00a0Drivers, please be alert to motorcycles, bicycles, joggers and walkers.\u00a0Remember pedestrians have the right of way at crosswalks.\u00a0Thank you.<\/p>\n

PLEASE, don\u2019t text while driving.\u00a0It is terribly dangerous.<\/p>\n

Thank you to our Valley City Postal Service as those folks served as \u201cfront line workers too.\u00a0We always had mail delivery.\u00a0\u201cNeither snow nor rain nor heat nor gloom of night stays these couriers from swift completion of their appointed rounds\u201d.<\/p>\n
