Jamestown\u00a0 (CSi) \u00a0\u00a0 The 14th Annual Running of the Pink was held on Saturday, June, 2021 in both an in-person and virtual event.\u00a0 Organizer Tara Kapp says this year\u2019s run raised $28,933.31, including Casey Stoudt\u2019s match of$10,000.<\/p>\n
The event has raised money for Women\u2019s Way and No Excuses, both programs focused on eliminating barriers to breast and cervical cancer screenings.<\/p>\n
Kapp adds, \u201cA special thank you to Robin [Iszler] and the staff at Central Valley Health District for donating your slice of the event proceeds directly to No Excuses through [the] Jamestown Regional Medical Center. Women\u2019s Way through CVH continues to receive federal funding to assist those in need of necessary screenings so with their coffers full, they opted to donate their portion.<\/p>\n
Kapp thanked everyone who dedicated time and money through volunteerism, sponsorship, participation and\/or general donations, saying,\u00a0 you make a difference.\u00a0 You touch lives around you in a most positive way. You continue to join our army in the fight against breast and cervical cancer.\u201d<\/p>\n

Jamestown\u00a0 (CSi)\u00a0 The 14th<\/sup> Annual Running of the Pink 5K Walk\/Run \u2013 10K Run will be a hybrid event, meaning it\u2019s available both LIVE and VIRTUALLY.<\/p>\n Tara Kapp from R.M. Stoudt said, to-date, this event has raised over $163,000 for the No Excuses Program through Jamestown Regional Medical Center and Women\u2019s Way through Central Valley Health.<\/p>\n She said 100% of the proceeds stay local and go to those 2 organizations to make certain there are ZERO BARRIERS between those who need Breast and Cervical cancer screenings and the screenings themselves.<\/p>\n The live event is scheduled for Saturday, June 5th<\/sup>, 9:00am at RM Stoudt<\/strong>.\u00a0 ALL ages and fitness levels are encouraged to participate.<\/p>\n 2019 Photos at Facebook<\/p>\n CSi Photos 2019<\/p>\n [easyrotator]erc_75_1559501915[\/easyrotator]<\/p>\n The virtual event can be completed anytime between now and June 5th<\/sup>.\u00a0 Meaning \u2013 anyone who signs up for the virtual event can walk or run their 5K or 10K at their leisure.\u00a0 They can do it on their treadmill at home, on a route of their choosing or on the actual Running of the Pink route which can be found on the running app MapMyRun.\u00a0 Anyone who participates virtually is asked to post their involvement on Facebook, Instagram or Twitter and add the #VirtualROP OR email a photo or story of their participation to rmstoudt@csicable.net<\/a> so we can celebrate with them.<\/p>\n Those who choose the Live event are asked to pre-register so that we can reduce the amount of congestion at the registration tables the day of the event.\u00a0 Masks are asked to be worn before and after the race when you\u2019re in closer contact with others outside of your family\/friend pods.<\/p>\n ANYONE who would like to register can do so by picking up a form at the dealership or going to www.stoudtcars.com<\/a> where forms can be printed OR you can register online for both the live and virtual options.<\/p>\n
