Hello Folks,<\/p>\n

Gosh, MORE rain!!\u00a0It is amazing to me how fast a bit of \u201cMother Nature\u2019s\u201d water can make the tree leaves plush, grasses greener and makes smiling much easier.<\/p>\n

September is Library Card Sign-up Month.\u00a0The Barnes County Library joins the American Library Association and libraries nationwide reminding people a library card is a \u201ckey\u201d to life long learning.\u00a0Please visit:\u00a0https:\/\/vcbclibrary.org\/<\/a>\u00a0or call 845-3821 to learn more about securing your library card.<\/p>\n

Our moderating temperatures offer great times to get out and enjoy the scenery.\u00a0Other choices for you might be exercising or volunteering.\u00a0Churches, youth groups, fire departments and beautification committees are just a few of the many groups needing help.\u00a0Whether your talents lie outside, inside or clerical type work, there is a place for you.\u00a0Please consider volunteering, it is gratifying.<\/p>\n

Thank you to our Public Works Dept.\u00a0A couple of the guys were out \u201cmaking rounds\u201d and noticed a sump pump running suspiciously often.\u00a0Through the Automatic Metering Infrastructure they identified there was a broken pipe and no one was home.\u00a0Great job everyone.<\/p>\n
