\"\"Bismarck\u00a0 \u00a0\u2013 The North Star Athletic Association (NSAA<\/a>) has announced its final edition of the Football Players-of-the-Week honors Monday.\u00a0 Jordan Cooper of Waldorf (Iowa) was named to the Offensive Player-of-the-Week.\u00a0 Jerrod Williamson of Valley City State (N.D.) was selected as the Defensive Player-of-the-Week, while his teammate Nico Magana was named to the Special Teams Player-of-the-Week.<\/p>\n

NSAA Football Defensive Player of the Week<\/u><\/strong>
\nJerrod Williamson \u2013 Valley City State (N.D.) \u2013 5\u20199\u2033 \u2013 180 lbs., Senior \u2013 defensive back \u2013 Upper Marlboro, Md.<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 Williamson broke up three passes and caught an interception in (RV) Valley City State (N.D.) 24-7 home victory over arch-rival Jamestown (N.D.).\u00a0 His fourth quarter interception set up a 25-yard touchdown pass that put the game out of reach at 24-0.\u00a0 Williamson also had five tackles in the game.<\/p>\n

NSAA Football Special Teams Player of the Week<\/u><\/strong>
\nNico Magana \u2013 Valley City State (N.D.) \u2013 5\u20197\u2033 \u2013 255 lbs., Freshman \u2013 kicker \u2013 Chula Vista, Calif.<\/strong> \u2013 Magana converted a field goal and made all three PAT extra-point kicks in propelling (RV) Valley City State (N.D.) to a 24-7 season home opener over arch-rival Jamestown (N.D.).\u00a0 He averaged 55 yards per kick-off attempt, where the Jimmies\u2019 average field position after those five kick-offs was their own 25-yard line.\u00a0 Magana hit a 20-yard field goal in the Vikings.<\/p>\n
