{"id":235061,"date":"2021-09-20T22:12:29","date_gmt":"2021-09-21T03:12:29","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/csinewsnow.com\/?p=235061"},"modified":"2021-09-20T22:13:10","modified_gmt":"2021-09-21T03:13:10","slug":"school-board-approves-budget","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/csinewsnow.com\/?p=235061","title":{"rendered":"School Board approves final budget"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Jamestown\u00a0 (CSi) At the Jamestown Public School Board meeting, Monday, school board unanimously approved the general fund budget for $34,567,686.72.<\/p>\n<p>The general budget includes employee salaries along with benefits, and purchases services, professional and technical services, and supplies and materials.<\/p>\n<p>The board approved\u00a0 increasing the budget to 102 mills.<\/p>\n<p>Superintendent Dr. Robert\u00a0 Lech said this is a small increase from the previous three years, and does not include a assessment change on homes in the school district.<\/p>\n<p>On the topic of COVID-19, Lech said there will be no vaccination mandates, while it does\u00a0 offer the\u00a0 Binax rapid testing for staff as-needed.
