\"\"Jamestown\u00a0 (CSi)\u00a0 The Don Wilhelm, Inc.,\u00a0 10th<\/sup> Annual Car Show and 5K Run\/Walk is on Saturday September 25, 2021, at the dealership at 305 Business Loop West in Jamestown.<\/p>\n

The event raises funds for the Huntington Disease Society of America, in memory of Dan Wilhelm who passed away from the disease, on November 11, 2012 at 55 years old.<\/p>\n

Dan was a co-owner of Wilhelm Chevrolet Buick GMC.<\/p>\n

A cure is yet to be found, as Huntington\u2019s disease is an inherited brain disorder that results in the progressive loss of mental faculties and physical control.<\/p>\n

An individual who has been diagnosed with Huntington\u2019s disease will eventually die from pneumonia, heart failure or other complications.<\/p>\n

On Saturday September 25 the car show set up is 8-a.m. to 10-a.m. with the car show 10-a.m. to 3-p.m.<\/p>\n

Car, Truck, Bike Show donations need to be registered\u00a0 before September 25, at $15, or $20 the day of the show.<\/p>\n

The 5K Run\/Walk set up is 7-a.m. to 8-a.m. the run is 8-a.m. to 10-a.m<\/p>\n

Registrations before September 25, is Adults $20, Youth 12 and under $15, Seniors 60 and older $15.<\/p>\n

The day of an additional $5 registration in each age division.<\/p>\n

For the Run\/Walk there will be Payouts for, Fastest Male $50, Fastest Female $50, Largest Team $150, and the best dressed pet\u00a0 $25.<\/p>\n

For the Car Show, plaques will be given (while supplies last) and trophies.<\/p>\n

Cash awards are: \u00a0for Show Stopper $250 1st<\/sup> Place, \u00a0$150 2nd<\/sup> place, $75 \u00a03rd<\/sup> Place.<\/p>\n

People\u2019s Choice $150 1st<\/sup> Place, $100 2nd<\/sup> Place,\u00a0 $50 3rd<\/sup> Place.<\/p>\n

Owner\u2019s Choice $150<\/p>\n

Rat Rod $100<\/p>\n

Miss Rodeo ND Choice $100<\/p>\n

Mayor\u2019s Choice $100<\/p>\n

James Valley Street Machines Club, Member Award $100.<\/p>\n

Raffles will be held with the Grand Prize a 1982 Corvette or $5,000 cash<\/p>\n

2nd<\/sup> Prize A big Green Egg Smoker<\/p>\n

3rd<\/sup> Prize a Corvette Pub Table & Chairs<\/p>\n

4th<\/sup> Prize $300 cash.<\/p>\n

Only 1700 tickets will be sold.<\/p>\n
