DICKINSON, N.D.\u00a0 (UJ<\/a>)\u00a0 —\u00a0<\/strong>Drew Hjelmstad<\/a> (FR\/Maple Grove, Minn.) placed seventh and helped lead the University of Jamestown men’s cross country team to a second-place finish at the Shane Grever Invite Friday afternoon.<\/p>\n SHANE GREVER INVITE RESULTS<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n Hjelmstad crossed the line in 28 minutes, 26 seconds and was one of five Jimmies to finish in the top 20.<\/p>\n Micah Hoke<\/a> (FR\/Jamestown, N.D.) finished 12th in 29:05, followed by Alex Walker<\/a> (FR\/Lakewood, Colo.) in 14th at 29:23,\u00a0and Noah Mang<\/a> (JR\/West Chester, Ohio) in 16th at 29:38.\u00a0Ethan Sherva<\/a> (FR\/Portland, N.D.) was 20th in 29:54.<\/p>\n Other Jimmie finishers included David Martin<\/a> (JR\/Wasco, Calif.) (21st, 30:09), Kadin Neppl<\/a> (FR\/Maddock, N.D.) (22nd, 30:17), Corbin Cornelius<\/a> (FR\/Wahpeton, N.D.) (29th, 32:59), and Jacob Juelfs<\/a> (SR\/Medina, N.D.) (33rd, 37:14).<\/p>\n Dickinson State University won the team title while Cole Jensen of the Blue Hawks placed first with a time of 26:44.<\/p>\n Next up for Jamestown is the Jimmie Invite on October 8.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n Women<\/p>\n DICKINSON, N.D.\u00a0 (UJ)\u00a0 —\u00a0<\/strong>Paige Erbstoesser<\/a> (FR\/West Fargo, N.D.) finished seventh, one of four University of Jamestown women’s cross country runners to finish in the top 15 Friday at the Shane Grever Invite.<\/p>\n SHANE GREVER INVITE RESULTS<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n Erbstoesser ran a time of 20:07, followed by Silje Kindseth<\/a> (FR\/Grand Forks, N.D.) (13th, 22:59), Elise Cummins<\/a> (FR\/Sparks, Nev.) (14th, 23:02), and Jennifer Tallackson<\/a> (FR\/Wheatland, N.D.) (15th, 23:17). All four runners were competing in their first collegiate 5K race.<\/p>\n Only two schools (Dickinson State and Trinity Bible College) ran with full teams in the 26-runner field.
