University football team scored 26 straight points to turn a 14-7 deficit into a 33-14 lead, holding off the University of Jamestown 33-22 Saturday afternoon at Charlotte &amp; Gordon Hansen Stadium.<\/p>\n<p>It was the first conference loss of the season for the Jimmies, now 2-2 overall and 2-1 in the GPAC. UJ is at Doane (Neb.) University next Saturday.<\/p>\n<p>Jamestown scored first, with <a id=\"rosterLink0\" class=\"rosterProfileLink   \" title=\"\" href=\"https:\/\/www.jimmiepride.com\/roster\/22\/5\/10478\" data-url=\"\/SIDHelp\/briefBio\/22\/5\/10478\" data-original-title=\"\">Cade Torgerson<\/a> (JR\/Billings, Mont.) finding <a id=\"rosterLink1\" class=\"rosterProfileLink   \" title=\"\" href=\"https:\/\/www.jimmiepride.com\/roster\/22\/5\/10508\" data-url=\"\/SIDHelp\/briefBio\/22\/5\/10508\" data-original-title=\"\">Frankie Ingraldi<\/a> (FR\/Colorado Springs, Colo.) for a 40-yard touchdown pass. <a id=\"rosterLink2\" class=\"rosterProfileLink   \" title=\"\" href=\"https:\/\/www.jimmiepride.com\/roster\/22\/5\/10490\" data-url=\"\/SIDHelp\/briefBio\/22\/5\/10490\" data-original-title=\"\">Izaak Myles<\/a> (JR\/Apple Valley, Calif.) made the extra point for a 7-0 lead at the 8:55 mark of the opening quarter.<\/p>\n<p>Midland answered with a touchdown drive of their own on the next possession to tie the game. Torgerson tossed his second touchdown of the quarter\u00a0on UJ&#8217;s ensuing drive, finding <a id=\"rosterLink3\" class=\"rosterProfileLink   \" title=\"\" href=\"https:\/\/www.jimmiepride.com\/roster\/22\/5\/10515\" data-url=\"\/SIDHelp\/briefBio\/22\/5\/10515\" data-original-title=\"\">Micah Madyun<\/a> (FR\/Ramsey, Minn.) from 26 yards out, and the Myles extra point made it 14-7 at the 3:39 mark.<\/p>\n<p>A pair of Jared Quinonez field goals was the only scoring for the Warriors in the second quarter as the Jimmies took a 14-13 lead into halftime.<\/p>\n<p>Two touchdowns by Midland in the third quarter made it 26-14, then Dalton Tremayne broke loose for a 92-yard touchdown run to increase Midland&#8217;s lead to 33-14.<\/p>\n<p>Torgerson threw his third touchdown of the game at the 7:57 mark of the fourth, connecting with <a id=\"rosterLink4\" class=\"rosterProfileLink   \" title=\"\" href=\"https:\/\/www.jimmiepride.com\/roster\/22\/5\/10526\" data-url=\"\/SIDHelp\/briefBio\/22\/5\/10526\" data-original-title=\"\">Javon Bowie-Monteiro<\/a> (JR\/Sacramento, Calif.) on a nine-yard pass, then tossed a pass to Bowie-Monteiro for the two-point conversion.<\/p>\n<p>UJ forced Midland to punt on their next two drives, but could not find their way into the end zone.<\/p>\n<p>Torgerson finished 20-of-37 passing for 301 yards and three scores.
