Jamestown, ND (KCSi-T.V. News) \u2014 A two vehicle accident was\u00a0 investigation by the North Dakota Highway Patrol\u00a0 that occurred at the junction of Highway 52 North and the by-pass about 1-p.m., Thursday (Aug 1, 2013).\u00a0 The accident involved a truck pulling a trailer and an SUV<\/p>\n

A GMC Yukon Denali driven by 56 year old Randy Lynn of Pingree was southbound at 65-70 miles per hour on the left driving lane.\u00a0 A southbound truck was next to the vehicle\u00a0 on the right lane and slowing to turn west onto the bypass.<\/p>\n
A pickup \u00a0truck driven by 29 year old Raymond Snare of Moorhead, MN\u00a0 was eastbound on the bypass and stopped at the stop intersection of highway 52 a few miles north of Jamestown.<\/p>\n
Snare\u00a0 noticed the southbound truck slowing to turn west, then began the process of turning north onto highway 52,\u00a0 and drove in front of\u00a0 the southbound\u00a0 SUV and was struck.<\/p>\n
Both vehicles came to rest on the crossover and one in the southbound lane.\u00a0 The trailer being pulled by pickup\u00a0 came to rest on its side causing it to loose its load of rebar.<\/p>\n
Traffic was routed around the crash for approximately 1.5 hours until the vehicles, trailer and load were removed from the roadway.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Lynn and a passenger 28 year old\u00a0 Tyler Lynn were treated and released from Jamestown Regional Medical Center.<\/p>\n
Neither Snare or a passnger, 15 year\u00a0 old Kyle Peterson of Wheatland, ND were injured.\u00a0 All were wearing seat belts.<\/p>\n
$15,000 damage was reported to the SUV, $12,000 damage reported to the pickup.<\/p>\n
Assisting at the scene were the Stutsman County Sheriff\u2019s Office and Jamestown Area Ambulance Service.<\/p>\n
