Jamestown city crews will begin clearing snow starting tonight, Wednesday, January 19 & Thursday, January 20, 2022. This will begin at 11:00 p.m. both nights and will continue until finished.<\/p>\n

\u00a0The areas of snow removal at this time:<\/div>\n
\u2022 5th Ave NE & 13th St NE (ND Hwy 20)<\/div>\n
\u2022 3rd & 4th St NE (from 7th Ave to 12th Ave NE)<\/div>\n
\u2022 West Business Loop, from 4th Ave to 17th St SW (Mill Hill)<\/div>\n
\u2022 All School locations<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
All vehicles should be removed from these streets and avenues during this time.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
<\/div>\n
As a reminder: Jamestown City Code Sec. 25-10.1. – Deposit on streets and alleys, etc.<\/div>\n
It shall be unlawful for any person to remove snow, slush, or ice from private property or from any driveway, curb cut, or sidewalk and deposit the same upon the surface of any street or alley within the city.<\/div>\n

The snow and ice may be removed by the city and the necessary expense thereof shall be chargeable against the abutting lot or property.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

(a)Violation of this section is a class B misdemeanor under the general penalty.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
