Sunday Update:\u00a0 \u00a0Jamestown (CSi) The 44th Annual 2023 Runnin O\u2019 The Green fundraiser in Jamestown on March 18 had 100 Runners.<\/span>Larry Knoblich along with the Jamestown Elks Club reorganized this year\u2019s event. Larry says the 100 runners is far less when compared to an average of thousands.\u00a0 This year the extreme cold and Interstates being closed limited the crowds.<\/p>\n

He says as of Sunday, $28,000 has been raised. He added that each year the money raised goes to Jamestown\u2026and area\u2026 cancer patients, and for the Elks Camp Grassick.<\/p>\n

Larry will have more dollar amounts and the final totals when all pubs have reported.<\/p>\n

Previously Reported:\u00a0 \u00a0The 44th Annual of the Runnin’ of the Green will be held Saturday March 18,\u00a0 starting at the Frontier Fort in SW Jamestown, ND.\u00a0 \u00a0The charity event benefits Elks Camp Grassick and area cancer patients.\u00a0 \u00a0A Marathon of past runs will air on CSi TV 10 – The Replay Channel in the week before the Run.<\/p><\/div>\n
