The Legend Award recognizes employees who exceed expectations and make THE difference in the lives of those they serve.<\/p>\n<p>JRMC Pharmacy Technician Megan Thompson nominated Schmidt, a fellow JRMC pharmacy technician. Schmidt works in pharmacy full-time. She also helps the JRMC Environmental Services team when it needs extra support.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cJanean is a phenomenal worker and team player,\u201d Thompson said. \u201cPharmacy would like to recognize her willingness to help others and for her joyful spirit while doing so.\u201dJRMC\u2019s 350 employees cast anonymous votes to select each Legend Award winner.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cJanean is one of the hardest working people I have ever met,\u201d said JRMC Pharmacy Manager Brian Ament. \u201cShe works until the job is done.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The purpose of the Legend Award is to inspire, motivate and capture the moments that define JRMC. The goal is to help employees and volunteers connect to the sense of purpose that brought them to the organization. Specifically, this award is for employees who\u2019ve made extreme efforts to benefit their patients and colleagues.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe nominations inspire staff members to continually be the best, exceed expectations and make THE difference in the lives of those we serve,\u201d said JRMC President &amp; CEO, Mike Delfs.<\/p>\n<p>Once nominated, both JRMC administration and employees vote on their favorite nominees and their stories.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are so grateful for Janean,\u201d said JRMC Environmental Services Manager Dane Gebel. \u201cWe appreciate her willingness to help during a time of need.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The Legend Award first began in 2012.
