The reservoir was at 1,265.90 feet.\u00a0 The 4,200 cfs release will be maintained, unless the next precipitation event this weekend, requires adjustments downward.<\/p>\n<p>He pointed out that the National Weather Service says rainfall amounts this weekend, could range from and half inch to 1 inch, with isolated areas of 2-3 inches possible.\u00a0 If the higher amounts of rainfall occurs, the dam releases will be adjusted accordingly.<\/p>\n<p>He said the levee construction is near 100 percent complete.\u00a0 He said additional clay for levee construction is being stored in Valley City.<\/p>\n<p>The Mill Dam erosion has been address with rip rap material.<\/p>\n<p>City Administrator, Gwen Crawford said the Rainbow Bridge and Hospital Bride remain open, with clay material stockpiled.\u00a0 If they need to be closed the order would be, first the Rainbow Bridge and then the hospital bridge.<\/p>\n<p>She said anyone needing sandbags can obtain them at The Valley City Fire Hall, from 8-a.m. to\u00a0 6-p.m. daily, and after hours by appointment.<\/p>\n<p>Barnes County Emergency Manager Sue Lloyd said rural bridges remain open.\u00a0 Residents\u00a0 have been notified by Everbridge, of any plans to close those first two bridges\u00a0 south of town, if necessary.<\/p>\n<p>Police Chief Phil Hatcher reported people getting on levees, requesting residents stay off of them.\u00a0 There is a $500 fine for those in violation.<\/p>\n<p>He reminds motors to observe signage indicated the closed streets.<\/p>\n<p>City Attorney Carl Martineck said the non-emergency flood hotline phone number is 701-890-7848.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Valley City\u00a0 (CSi)\u00a0 The Valley City Commission held another Flood Discussion\/Planning meeting at City Hall, on Tuesday afternoon at 4-p.m.\u00a0 All members were present.
