Next is scheduled for Sunday t 4pm.<\/p>\n<p>Valley City\u00a0 (CSi)\u00a0 More updates on the Valley City 2022 flooding situation was discussed Saturday afternoon at a meeting at City Hall. All Commissioners were present.<\/p>\n<p>With the latest water information, Baldhill Dam Resource Manager Rich Schueneman reported that, the Lake Ashtabula level was at 1265.07 feet, with the additional storage being used, with available\u00a0 1269-1270 feet.\u00a0 The peak inflow is anticipated at 8,000 cfs, May 2 and 3.<\/p>\n<p>The reservoir inflow was 4200 cfs the release was 4000 cfs<\/p>\n<p>The Sheyenne River Level was 17.44 feet, the release flow at 5190 cfs local inflows through town at 1200 cfs.\u00a0 In Griggs County the Karnack and Anderson drains are holding back some water from the Sheyenne River.<\/p>\n<p>The river crest of 18 feet is projected to occur Saturday night or Sunday morning, April 30, May 1 .\u00a0 The two bridges south of town as of Saturday afternoon&#8217;s report remain open.<\/p>\n<p>The National Weather Service rainfall amount at 7-a.m. Saturday was 1.56 inches, and just under 2-inches at\u00a0 2-p.m.\u00a0 Another half inch of rain was projected to fall the rest of Saturday.<\/p>\n<p>City Administrator Gwen Crawford said, the hospital bridge and Rainbow Bridge plan to remain open, as do the two bridges south of town.\u00a0 The city is receiving and installing more pumps being put on line by Public Works.\u00a0 Ft. Ransom was receiving sandbags from Fargo.<\/p>\n<p>Levee walkers will still be need through the early part of next week, with volunteers still needed by calling 890-7848<\/p>\n<p>Barnes County Emergency Manager, Sue Lloyd said the Kathryn Road Bridge\u00a0 closed on Saturday about noon. Residents notified by Everbridge.
