FALL RECREATIONAL SOCCER LEAGUE<\/p>\n
FOCUS: Fun, soccer, exercise, friends, team play, sportsmanship, family\u2026<\/p>\n
AGE & GENDER: Grades K-5, boys and girls (older players should consider JSC Competitive Soccer, or JHS soccer\u2014see below)<\/p>\n
SEASON DATES: First practices start THE WEEK OF Sept 9, with final games on Oct 13 (6 weeks\u2014one week added this season)<\/p>\n
PRACTICE: One practice per week, as scheduled by your child\u2019s coach. Most coaches practice Tuesday or Thursday evening<\/p>\n
GAMES: Rec League Games played Sunday afternoons.<\/p>\n
WHERE: Hillcrest Soccer Complex<\/p>\n
PROVIDED: Reversible blue\/white jersey (returning players–please wear or return jersey from previous season)<\/p>\n
REQUIRED: Shin guards & water bottle (available at local sporting goods stores\/departments)<\/p>\n
COACHES: *U6 & U8 coaches are parent volunteers trained by JSC Director of Coaching Donovan Gibson and Don Schwehr NEW\u2014Donovan and Don will be at the soccer fields Tues & Thursday evenings to assist Rec team practices, and on Sunday game days as coaches request. So more help for our parent coaches\u2014please volunteer!<\/p>\n
*U10 coaches\u2014experience preferred.<\/p>\n
COST: $40 by Sept 3, $50 afterwards. Each additional child 25% off. No refunds after 1st week.<\/p>\n
REC DIRECTOR: Don Schwehr, 20 year volunteer for JSC, will do right by you and your child this season.<\/p>\n

COACH VOLUNTEERS are the foundation of Recreational soccer. This is a great way to spend time with your child and his\/her peers. A soccer background is not necessary (most of us do not have one). Training will be provided to make this a fun and enjoyable experience for you and your team. Only involves one practice and one game per week.<\/p>\n
