Jamestown (UJ)<\/a> The University of Jamestown women’s wrestling team sent its seniors off in style Sunday afternoon, defeating Minot State University 38-11 in dual action at Harold Newman Arena.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Josie Bartishofski<\/a> (JR\/Wausau, Wis.), Samantha Weeks<\/a> (SR\/Tacoma, Wash.), Allie Baudhuin<\/a> (SR\/Coppell, Texas), and Arianna Marrufo<\/a> (SR\/Dos Palos, Calif.) were honored before the dual. Each of the four were successful in their final home matches, with Bartishofski defeating Jazmin Gorder by 11-0 tech fall in an exhibition at 123; Weeks pinning Zoe Desloges in 1:08 at 116, Marrufo winning by 10-0 tech fall over Gorder at 123, and Baudhuin winning by 12-2 tech fall over Annika Gotlieb at 130.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The dual began at 191 as Kelly LaCost<\/a> (JR\/Rancho Santa Margarita, Calif.) pinned Madison Parson in 34 seconds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Minot State was open at 101, 109, 136, and 143, while the Jimmies were vacant at 170. The Beavers’ Nina Sandoval was a winner by pin at 155.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jamestown took three of the four exhibition matches as Rayanne Mutchler<\/a> (FR\/Blaine, Wash.) won an 8-4 decision at 220 and Jenna Gerhardt<\/a> (FR\/Devils Lake, N.D.) defeated Desloges by 10-0 tech fall at 116. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Jimmies are back in action January 8 at the Hastings Open in Hastings, Neb.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
