Jamestown (JPD) A Jamestown Police report says a 29-year-old male was arrested early Friday, December 16, as the suspect in a stabbing in Jamestown. <\/p>\n\n\n

The news release from Lt. Robert Opp said the department said that 29 year old Santos Eraza Lara, was taken into custody after it investigated a report of a stabbing at 12:45 a.m. Friday at 1014 16 Street Northeast.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The victim was taken to Jamestown Regional Medical Center by ambulance where he was treated for multiple stab wounds in the abdomen. His condition is not released but reportedly was non-life threatening.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Opp said the investigation determined the assailant and victim worked at a construction site at Spiritwood. The investigation also indicates the assailant specifically targeted the victim and no current danger exists to the community, he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lara was taken into custody without incident and is currently being held at the Stutsman County Correctional Center.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
