{"id":266116,"date":"2022-12-21T20:26:54","date_gmt":"2022-12-22T02:26:54","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/csinewsnow.com\/?p=266116"},"modified":"2022-12-23T23:12:44","modified_gmt":"2022-12-24T05:12:44","slug":"james-river-library-system-continues-to-operate","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/csinewsnow.com\/?p=266116","title":{"rendered":"Library System Continues To Operate 2 Locations"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Jameestown  (CSi)  The James River Valley Library System will continue to operate both buildings, unless a transition plan is submitted to the City of Jamestown and Stutsman County for approval, indicates a letter interpreting the memorandum of understanding between the two entities to provide joint library services.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Library Board President, Pam Phillips, read the letter to the library board at its meeting on Wednesday, Dec.ember 21.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The  Board of Directors received a letter dated December 16, 2022 that was signed by Mayor Dwaine Heinrich and Stutsman County Commission Chairman Mark Klose, which states:   \u201cThe language of the memorandum of agreement is clear, unless and until a plan for transition is developed and approved both buildings will continue to operate.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The letter says North Dakota Century Code 40-38-11 authorizes a city and county to jointly provide library services.
