Jamestown – The special meeting of the City Council was called to order by Mayor Heinrich at 3:45 P.M.
Roll Call showed the following members present: Mayor Heinrich, Council Members Buchanan, Kamlitz, Schloegel, Steele, City Attorney Ryan, Public Works Director Michel, and City Administrator Hellekson.
Council Member Steele moved a resolution to approve to advertise for bids for the purchase of One (1) New Front End Loader, Solid Waste Department. Seconded by Council Member Kamlitz. Roll Call No. 1: 5 ayes, 0 nays, 0 absent. Carried.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Council Member Kamlitz moved a resolution to approve the use of FHWA COVID Infrastructure Funds in the amount of $281,654 for the NDDOT 12th Ave Project and authorize the Mayor and City Administrator to sign the documents. Seconded by Council Member Buchanan. Roll Call No. 2: 5 ayes, 0 nays, 0 absent. Carried.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Council Member Steele moved a resolution to authorize the Mayor and City Administrator to sign the Construction Agreement for the Northwest Booster Station with American General Contractors, Inc. in the amount of $296,000. Seconded by Council Member Kamlitz. Roll Call No. 3: 5 ayes, 0 nays, 0 absent. Carried.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Council Member Kamlitz moved a resolution to authorize the Mayor and City Administrator to enter into a contract with LD Concrete, Jamestown, ND, for Sidewalk, Curb & Gutter District #23-11 in the amount of $71,547.50 and to sign the documents. Seconded by Council Member Buchanan. Roll Call No. 4: 5 ayes, 0 nays, 0 absent. Carried.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Council Member Steele moved a resolution to authorize the Mayor and City Administrator to enter into a contract with Border States Paving, Inc., for Seal Coat, Patching, Construction & Reconstruction District #23-41 in the amount of $2,293,693.32 and to sign the documents. Seconded by Council Member Schloegel. Roll Call No. 5: 5 ayes, 0 nays, 0 absent. Carried.
Council Member Kamlitz moved to adjourn at 3:53 p.m. Seconded by Council Member Schloegel. Unanimous aye vote. Carried.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
