{"id":274080,"date":"2023-07-20T14:17:42","date_gmt":"2023-07-20T19:17:42","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/csinewsnow.com\/?p=274080"},"modified":"2023-07-21T08:42:30","modified_gmt":"2023-07-21T13:42:30","slug":"274080","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/csinewsnow.com\/?p=274080","title":{"rendered":"Jordan Addison Cited for Driving at speeds of 140"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>ESPN &#8211; Vikings\u00a0rookie receiver\u00a0<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.espn.com\/nfl\/player\/_\/id\/4429205\/jordan-addison\" target=\"_blank\">Jordan Addison<\/a>\u00a0was cited Thursday morning for speed and reckless driving after an officer clocked him driving 140 mph on a freeway just outside of St. Paul, according to an incident report from the Minnesota State Patrol.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Addison, the No. 23 overall pick of the 2023 NFL draft, was not arrested, but the investigation into the incident is ongoing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In a statement, the Vikings said: &#8220;We are aware of last night&#8217;s traffic incident involving Jordan Addison and are gathering additional information.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to the police report, a patrol officer was traveling eastbound on Interstate 94 just after 3 a.m. when they &#8220;observed a driver in a Lamborghini Urus traveling 140 miles per hour in a 55 mile per hour zone.&#8221; The trooper made a traffic stop and identified Addison as the driver.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Vikings rookies are due to report to training camp Sunday, with veterans reporting next Tuesday and the first on-field work set for Wednesday.
