CLOUD, MN \u2013 Coborn\u2019s, Inc., the parent company of Coborn\u2019s, Cash Wise Foods, Marketplace Foods and Tadych\u2019s Marketplace grocery and liquor stores, has long been conscious of its responsibility to respect and acknowledge the sacrifices of veterans and first responders. For that reason, during the month of September, the company\u2019s grocery and liquor stores partnered with Folds of Honor Foundation, an organization that provides life-changing educational scholarships to the spouses and children of fallen or disabled U.S. service members and first responders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cCoborn\u2019s, Inc, and our family of retail grocery and liquor stores, is proud to have supported Folds of Honor recently, raising over $109,600 to fund educational scholarships to assist the spouses and children of American\u2019s fallen or disabled military and first responders,\u201d said Dennis Host, Coborn\u2019s, Inc.\u2019s senior vice president of marketing and communications. \u201cSpecial thanks to our guests, who supported Folds of Honor so generously during our September round-up campaign. We are extremely proud to have partnered with Folds of Honor to support these families.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Throughout the month of September, guests were able to round up their order total to the nearest dollar to be donated to Folds of Honor when they shopped in-store or online at

Folds of Honor Foundation was founded by Lieutenant Colonel Dan Rooney, a decorated F-16 fighter pilot. From its inception in 2007, Folds of Honor has awarded more than 51,000 scholarships totaling about $240 million. Minority recipients represent 45% of all scholarships awarded. In 2022, the organization expanded its mission to America\u2019s first responders, including police, fire, EMTs, and paramedics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
