Jamestown – Jamestown Police Department is providing an update to an investigation
into the vehicle related crimes in Northeast Jamestown from the Thanksgiving Holiday weekend.
The ongoing joint investigation by the Jamestown Police Department and Stutsman County
Sheriff\u2019s Office has led to 5 juveniles being referred to Juvenile Court on charges related to the
following crimes:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
1.) 16-year-old female juvenile has been referred to Juvenile Court for theft of a motor vehicle.
2.) 14-year-old male juvenile has been referred to Juvenile Court for multiple counts of unlawful
entry into a motor vehicles, theft of property, theft of a motor vehicle, and criminal mischief.
3.) 13-year-old male juvenile has been referred to Juvenile Court for multiple counts of unlawful
entry into a motor vehicles, theft of property, theft of a motor vehicle, and criminal mischief.
4.) 13-year-old male has been referred to Juvenile Court for multiple counts of unlawful entry
into a motor vehicles, theft of property, and theft of a motor vehicle.
5.) 12-year-old male has been referred to Juvenile Court for multiple counts of unlawful entry
into a motor vehicles, theft of property, and theft of a motor vehicle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Both investigating agencies were assisted by concerned citizens who provided information and
videos from security systems. Those videos and tips provided several investigative leads, which
ultimately led to the arrest of those involved in these criminal acts. We would like to express our
appreciation to the public, and especially to those concerned citizens, in providing those
investigative leads.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

(Jamestown, ND) The Jamestown Police Department is asking for the public\u2019s assistance after a
rash of vehicle related crimes over the Thanksgiving holiday weekend. Two vehicle thefts
resulted in heavy damage to both vehicles. There were also several vehicle break-ins and several
unlawful entries into motor vehicles in the Northeast area of Jamestown. If anyone has cameras,
we request you review any video footage from the night of Friday November 24, 2023 until the
morning of Sunday November 26, 2023. Any leads the public can provide us with will greatly
help us in our investigations.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Stutsman County Dispatch at 701-252-1000 and ask
