The Jimmies and the Comets kept a close game the first half. The largest lead was held by the Jimmies six minutes into play (14-8).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Comets quickly responded with a 10-3 run to lead 18-17. Points were tight the next seven minutes as the teams fought to take the lead.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With 6:25 on the clock, the Comets took a lead of 26-24 and managed to keep it to end the half ahead 40-37.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With 15 points, 12 of them coming from outside the arc,\u00a0Silas Bennion<\/a>\u00a0discouraged the Comets from gaining a lead of more than five in the first half.\u00a0Cole Woodford<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0Colby Vazquez<\/a>\u00a0contributed with two threes each.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Another Bennion three started the Jimmies points in the second half.\u00a0Will Cordes<\/a>\u00a0hit a jumper and tagged on two threes, and\u00a0Antonio Chandler<\/a>\u00a0put up two to help the team lead 50-44.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Will Cordes<\/a>\u00a0put up a third three to extend the Jimmie’s lead to eight. The Comets did not see a lead the rest of the game.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The game got tight with 1:00 on the clock as the Comets trailed 71-72. A Woodford three and Cordes steal leading to free throws put the Jimmies out of reach and they took the home win 77-73.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
