UJ – The Jimmies and Broncos put up a good fight in the first half. The Jimmies stayed close behind until around nine minutes remained where the Broncos began to pull ahead, making six straight buckets to lead 26-17.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
As the Broncos extended their lead to double figures, the Jimmies worked to close the gap eventually getting within six to end the half 36-42.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Cole Woodford<\/a>\u00a0led Jimmie scoring in the first with 12 points, going 4-4 outside the arc.\u00a0Antonio Chandler<\/a>\u00a0grabbed five rebounds and added on seven points. The Jimmies only had 2 turnovers in the first.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n Five minutes into the second half the Jimmies had worked to get within two points, forcing a Broncos timeout.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n The Broncos, determined to keep the Jimmies behind them, got up 67-57 with 6:32 to go. The next few minutes were a battle as the Jimmies fought to get ahead.<\/p>\n\n\n\n With 1:12 to go, the Broncos led 77-67. But the Jimmies had some fight left as they put up nine points while only allowing the Broncos two. Jimmie points came from free throws from\u00a0Will Cordes<\/a>\u00a0and Chandler, layup from Vazquez, and three-pointer from Cordes. They trailed 76-79 at :36.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n In the remaining seconds, the Jimmes outscored the Broncos 7-5 but ended up one point short of the win, 83-84.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
