Hello Folks! We, in Valley City, are Blessed to have one of three relatively unaltered Carnegie Libraries in North Dakota.\u00a0 Our majestic library was built in 1903 and is on the National Register of Historic Places.\u00a0 March 16th, from 1-4, \u201cLight Up the Library\u201d open house and fundraiser will be hosted at the library.\u00a0 Come for treats, visit friends and tour the beautiful facility.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Congratulations and thank you to the North Dakota Winter Show (NDWS) Manager Brandee Moore, the NDWS Staff and its Board of Directors for bringing the 87th North Dakota Winter Show to Valley City.\u00a0 With numerous vendors and great crowds, it was wonderful.\u00a0 Thank you again.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Thank you Ben Lokken, one of our city employees, who recently earned the North Dakota Level 4 Water Treatment Plant (WTP) License.\u00a0 Our water treatment plant is a Level 4 facility and the Level 4 License is the highest one can achieve in North Dakota.\u00a0 Congratulations Ben.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Last week we thanked all the students involved in the winter competition seasons.\u00a0 This week is a shout out to all the coaches, officials and judges who help administer contests in an orderly fashion.\u00a0 Coaching and officiating are great for \u201cgiving back\u201d to sports and fine arts that afforded us life\u2019s lessons and entertainment over time.\u00a0 Thank you a bunch to all coaches, officials and judges who give of themselves for our youth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
