Jamestown, ND (CSi) A crash involving 2 vehicles happened at the intersection of 1st Avenue S & 1st St East, Tuesday May 7, around 5pm. The intersection is just south of the railroad tracks. <\/p>\n\n\n

Jamestown Police were on scene to direct northbound traffic that was backed-up due to the damaged vehicles. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The intersection flow is unrestricted north & south, and the east & west traffic controlled by stop signs. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The traffic lights that had controlled the intersection were removed in 2021 as a part of the “Road Diet” project, which eliminated Traffic Signals at 1st St S, 2nd St S, 5th St S, and 4th St North. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
