This site is managed by the State Historical Society.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sebastian George Spangler farmed and raised cattle in the Jamestown area in addition to operating an antique business. His legacy of community involvement and dedication to Jamestown\u2019s heritage will be honored through this gift.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWe are overwhelmed,\u201d said Barb Lang, a longtime member of the1883 Stutsman County Courthouse Committee, said, \u201cIt\u2019s incredible to think that the courthouse will be preserved beyond our lifetimes, and likely even for our grandchildren\u2019s lifetimes.
