BROOKINGS, S.D. \u2013 The North Dakota State women’s track & field team competed at a pair of meets on Saturday, with the majority of the Bison at the Jim Emmerich Alumni Meet hosted by South Dakota State.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

NDSU’s Grace Emineth<\/a><\/dfn> won the long jump at SDSU with a mark of 19-05.50 (5.93m). Joy Nnantah<\/a><\/dfn> won the triple jump with a mark of 37-07.25 (11.46m).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jacee Johannsen<\/a><\/dfn> won the pole vault for the third straight meet, clearing 13-05.25 (4.10m). Allison Otto-Fitzsimons<\/a><\/dfn> was the runner-up at 12-05.50 (3.80m).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Grace Link<\/a><\/dfn> won the mile in 4:53.82, and also took third in the 1000m in 2:57.29. Jaelyn Miller<\/a><\/dfn> was fourth in the mile in a personal-best 4:59.28.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Marvelous Onwualo<\/a><\/dfn> placed second in the 60m hurdles, clocking 8.58 in the final.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kate LeBlanc<\/a><\/dfn> was the runner-up in the 800m, clocking 2:15.87, and freshman Carsyn Brady<\/a><\/dfn> was third in 2:16.85.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Reese Rogowski<\/a><\/dfn> ran a 400m PR of 56.05 to take third place, Kaci Cooper<\/a><\/dfn> ran 56.54 for fourth, and Elise Wisnewski<\/a><\/dfn> was sixth in 56.72.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Reagan Baesler<\/a><\/dfn> took third in the 3,000m with a time of 9:40.08.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Anika Larson<\/a><\/dfn> posted the second-fastest indoor 200m dash of her career, running 24.56 for third place.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the Jack Johnson Classic hosted by Minnesota, the Bison women took third in both throwing events. Riley Quinn<\/a><\/dfn> placed third in the shot put with a mark of 46-06.00 (14.17m). Merrideth Spiers<\/a><\/dfn> threw 62-05.25 (19.03m) for third place in the weight throw.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
