Jamestown 6, Mayville State 4<br><strong>LOCATION<\/strong>: Nelson Family Bubble \/ Jamestown, N.D.<br><strong>RECORDS<\/strong>: Jamestown 4-4, Dakota Wesleyan 4-3, Mayville State 1-7<br><strong>GAME ONE vs. DAKOTA WESLEYAN<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><dfn><a href=\"https:\/\/jimmiepride.com\/sports\/softball\/roster\/abby-blair\/18597\">Abby Blair<\/a><\/dfn>&nbsp;went 3-for-3 with a double and triple and drove in three runs, while&nbsp;<dfn><a href=\"https:\/\/jimmiepride.com\/sports\/softball\/roster\/kayla-quintanilla\/18605\">Kayla Quintanilla<\/a><\/dfn>&nbsp;also was 3-for-3 and scored twice.<\/li><li>UJ trailed 2-1 in the bottom of the fourth, but took the lead on RBIs from&nbsp;<dfn><a href=\"https:\/\/jimmiepride.com\/sports\/softball\/roster\/kate-geiszler\/18614\">Kate Geiszler<\/a><\/dfn>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<dfn><a href=\"https:\/\/jimmiepride.com\/sports\/softball\/roster\/lauren-weigel\/18615\">Lauren Weigel<\/a><\/dfn>.<\/li><li>Quintanilla extended UJ&#8217;s lead with a single in the bottom of the fifth to make it 4-2, then Blair followed with a two-run double that extended Jamestown&#8217;s advantage to 6-2.<\/li><li>DWU strung together four hits in the top of the sixth and scored three times to get within 6-5.<\/li><li><dfn><a href=\"https:\/\/jimmiepride.com\/sports\/softball\/roster\/hope-ransome\/18606\">Hope Ransome<\/a><\/dfn>&nbsp;improved to 3-1, pitching 6 innings and striking out 7.<\/li><li><dfn><a href=\"https:\/\/jimmiepride.com\/sports\/softball\/roster\/maddie-hairgrove\/18613\">Maddie Hairgrove<\/a><\/dfn>&nbsp;recorded the final three outs for her first save.<\/li><li><dfn><a href=\"https:\/\/jimmiepride.com\/sports\/softball\/roster\/maddie-spaeth\/18609\">Maddie Spaeth<\/a><\/dfn>&nbsp;also had a multi-hit game for UJ and stole two bases.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>GAME TWO vs. MAYVILLE STATE<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Mayville State scored four times in the bottom of the sixth, coming back from a 4-2 deficit to record a 6-4 win.<\/li><li><dfn><a href=\"https:\/\/jimmiepride.com\/sports\/softball\/roster\/lauren-weigel\/18615\">Lauren Weigel&#8217;s<\/a><\/dfn>&nbsp;triple in the top of the third drove in&nbsp;<dfn><a href=\"https:\/\/jimmiepride.com\/sports\/softball\/roster\/trinity-gregg\/18601\">Trinity Gregg<\/a><\/dfn>, then&nbsp;<dfn><a href=\"https:\/\/jimmiepride.com\/sports\/softball\/roster\/maddie-spaeth\/18609\">Maddie Spaeth<\/a><\/dfn>&nbsp;singled in Weigel for a 2-1 Jimmie lead.<\/li><li>The Comets tied the game with a solo home run in the bottom of the fifth, but UJ retook the lead in the sixth.<\/li><li><dfn><a href=\"https:\/\/jimmiepride.com\/sports\/softball\/roster\/amanda-burch\/18598\">Amanda Burch<\/a><\/dfn>&nbsp;drew a one-out walk and&nbsp;<dfn><a href=\"https:\/\/jimmiepride.com\/sports\/softball\/roster\/kayla-quintanilla\/18605\">Kayla Quintanilla<\/a><\/dfn>&nbsp;connected for a two-run pinch-hit home run to make it 4-2.<\/li><li>Jamestown allowed a pair of walks with the bases loaded and hit a batter to drive in another as part of the Comets&#8217;
