BOULDER CITY, Nev \u2013 Sophomore Hannah Dunk<\/a><\/dfn> is in fifth place after 36-holes to help the North Dakota State women’s golf team sit in third place after the first two rounds of the Jackrabbit Invitational.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dunk (75-68\u2014143) is the top Bison after two rounds of play and sits in fifth place in the 92-golfer field with a score of -1, after shooting -4 in the second round. Firing six birdies in round two, her career-low 68 ranks tied for the seventh-lowest in a single round in Bison history.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Elise Hoven<\/a><\/dfn> (73-73\u2014146) is just behind in a tie for eighth after sinking three birdies in the first round and another four birdies in a row in the second round to finish +2 on the day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Madi Hicks<\/a><\/dfn> (76-73\u2014149) carded four birdies in the first round and shot +1 in the second round to finish in a tie for 23rd place at +5. Norah Roberts<\/a><\/dfn> (77-73\u2014150) is positioned just behind at +6 in a tie for 27th place. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cora Larson<\/a><\/dfn> (76-78\u2014154) is in a tie for 43rd place after finishing +10 on the day and Avery Bartels<\/a><\/dfn> (77-81\u2014158), who is playing as an individual, is tied for 53rd place at +14.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As a team, NDSU (300-287\u2014587) is in third place at +11 in the 15-team tournament. South Dakota State (289-292\u2014581) is the current leader at +5 with St. Thomas (300-282\u2014582) just behind at +6.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
