a kill from&nbsp;<dfn><a href=\"https:\/\/jimmiepride.com\/sports\/mens-volleyball\/roster\/tomasz-swiderski\/18134\">Tomasz Swiderski<\/a><\/dfn>&nbsp;to take a 19-16 lead eventually leading to the Jimmies taking the set 25-21&nbsp;<\/li><li>In the second set was much like the third with the each team trading points but this time a 3-0 scoring run by the Firestorm gave them a 6-8 lead&nbsp;<\/li><li>The Jimmies battled back got within three points with a kill by&nbsp;<dfn><a href=\"https:\/\/jimmiepride.com\/sports\/mens-volleyball\/roster\/markam-cook\/18115\">Markam Cook<\/a><\/dfn>&nbsp;13-10 but the Firestorm finished strong to win the second set 25-20<\/li><li>In the third set the Jimmies came out hot and were able to take a 4-1 lead&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/li><li>The Firestorm however answered back with a 7-1 scoring run to take an 8-6 lead over the Jimmies<\/li><li>The Jimmies responded and with 2-0 scoring run and a block by&nbsp;<dfn><a href=\"https:\/\/jimmiepride.com\/sports\/mens-volleyball\/roster\/benjamin-allred\/18112\">Benjamin Allred<\/a><\/dfn>&nbsp;tied the set 10-10<\/li><li>The Firestorm again went on a 3-0 scoring run to make the set 14-11 but the Jimmies were quick to respond with a 5-0 scoring run with a high career setting night from&nbsp;<dfn><a href=\"https:\/\/jimmiepride.com\/sports\/mens-volleyball\/roster\/michal-niemiec\/18130\">Michal Niemiec<\/a><\/dfn>&nbsp;to again tie the set 18-18&nbsp;<\/li><li>The set was again a back and forth battle but an ending 3-0 scoring run by the Firestorm gave them the set 25-23<\/li><li>In the fourth set the Jimmies were able to jump ahead quickly to a 4-1 lead but the Firestorm quickly responded tieing the set 4-4<\/li><li>The Jimmies responded and went on a 4-0 scoring run to take a 12-9 lead but as before the Firestorm fought back and tied the set again with an attack error by the Jimmies 14-14<\/li><li>The set again as a battle between both teams but a 3-0 scoring run by the Jimmies gave them a 18-15 lead but again the Firestorm respond on a 3-0 scoring run to take the lead 19-18&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/li><li>One last push by the Jimmies for a 3-0 scoring run and kill by&nbsp;<dfn><a href=\"https:\/\/jimmiepride.com\/sports\/mens-volleyball\/roster\/michal-niemiec\/18130\">Michal Niemiec<\/a><\/dfn>&nbsp;was able to give the Jimmies the set win 25-23&nbsp;<\/li><li>In the fifth set it was again a close set but the Firestorm were able to take a 6-4 lead on a 2-0 scoring run&nbsp;<\/li><li>The Jimmies dug deep and with a 4-0 scoring run was able to take a 9-7 lead<\/li><li>The Firestorm fought back but the Jimmies were able to fend them off and take a 16-14 set and match win<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>UP NEXT<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Jamestown continues play in Arizona against (RV) Ottawa University Arizona at the Faith Arena in Surprise, Ariz Wednesday March 26, 2025 at 8:00 p.m CST.&nbsp;<\/li><\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>UJ &#8211;
