Manhatten KS – The University of North Dakota men’s golf team wrapped up its first event of the 2025-26 season at the Wildcat Invitational, hosted by Kansas State, from Colbert Hills Golf Club in Manhattan, Kan.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As a team, the Fighting Hawks finished 13th with a team score of 917 (+53), having to battle multiple weather delays and strong winds. The middle round was the best for UND, shooting a 293 (+5) to tie for the sixth-best score of the day. The host-Wildcats captured the team crown with an 865 (+1) while Southern Illinois’ Anthony De Schutter won the individual title with a 212 (-4). <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kagan Kollar<\/a><\/dfn> paced the way for the green and white, finishing in a tie for 38th with a 227 (+11). The junior just missed matching his career low for a round over the middle 18, carding a 71 (-1) to climb up the leaderboard. Fellow junior Nathan Peyerl<\/a><\/dfn> sat just a few strokes behind his teammate with a 230 (+14) to sit tied for 52nd after rebounding from a tough opening round to post back-to-back rounds in the mid-70’s. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Carver Larson<\/a><\/dfn> made his collegiate debut in strong fashion, turning in a 233 (+17) to finish tied for 60th overall. The rookie also had a strong middle 18, just missing his first par round as a collegiate golfer with a 73 (+1). Landon Miller<\/a><\/dfn> also put together a strong middle 18 in his collegiate debut, firing a 74 (+2) to sit just one stroke behind Larson with a 234 (+18) at 62nd overall. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tucker D’Allaird<\/a><\/dfn> made his North Dakota debut as well, placing tied for 63rd with a 236 (+20). <\/p>\n\n\n\n

North Dakota will next head to Omaha for the Bluejay Invitational beginning next Monday at Shadow Ridge Country Club. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
