Grand Forks – The North Dakota soccer team (6-4-2, 0-1-1 Summit) earned its first point in Summit League play on Sunday afternoon, via a 0-0 tie against Omaha (4-4-4, 0-1-1 Summit) from Bronson field.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Hawks totaled their seventh clean sheet of the season, as Grace Miller<\/a><\/dfn> logged four saves in the match. Miller came up huge for the Hawks, stopping an Omaha breakaway in the 83rd minute to keep the game tied at 0-0.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

UND totaled eight shots compared to six from the Mavericks, with both teams registering four on net. Seven different Hawks recorded a shot, paced by Sarah McCracken<\/a><\/dfn> who logged two total shots, with one on frame.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Alisha Maake<\/a><\/dfn> contributed a shot, while leading the UND back line, winning headers and making tackles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

North Dakota will be on the pitch again this Thursday, as the Hawks travel to South Dakota State for a match with the Jackrabbits on Summit League Network.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
