Bismarck ND – The University of Jamestown Swimming and Diving team kicked off the Marauder Invite on Friday, October 3, 2025, at the Bismarck Aquatic Center. The Jimmies put together a solid effort against strong regional competition, concluding the day in 3rd place overall in the women’s team standings with a total of 378 points.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Top Performances in Diving<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Jimmies secured 2nd and 3rd place finishes in both the Women’s 1-meter Diving events, with standout performances from two divers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

 * Sadie Hager<\/a><\/dfn> (#2, Freshman): Hager was the top diver for the Jimmies in both events.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

   * She earned 2nd place in the Women 1m Championship (6 Dives) with a score of 155.70 points.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

   * She also placed 2nd in the Women 1m (5 Vol) event with a final score of 131.30 points.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

 * Nicole Herzog<\/a><\/dfn> (#3, Junior): Herzog secured 3rd place finishes in both 1-meter events.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

   * She took 3rd place in the Women 1m Championship (6 Dives) with 126.80 points.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

   * She finished 3rd in the Women 1m (5 Vol) event, scoring 105.70 points.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Event Winners and Top Swimmers<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Jimmies saw an individual event win and multiple high placements in the pool:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

 * Kailee Cline<\/a><\/dfn> (#1, Freshman): Cline delivered the Jimmies’ biggest swim victory of the day, winning the Women 200 Yard Butterfly with a final time of 2:12.08. She also contributed to the relays and placed 4th in the Women 200 Yard IM with a time of 2:22.06.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

 * Dagbjorg Hlif Olafsdottir<\/a><\/dfn> (#3, Sophomore): Olafsdottir secured two strong individual finishes:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

   * She finished 4th in the Women 50 Yard Butterfly with a time of 27.70.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

   * She placed 3rd in the Women 50 Yard Backstroke with a time of 28.98.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

 * Emily Petersen<\/a><\/dfn> (#2, Sophomore): Petersen had a high placement in the breaststroke events, finishing 2nd in the Women 50 Yard Breaststroke with a time of 32.17.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Relay and Other Notable Finishes<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

 * Women 400 Yard Freestyle Relay: The ‘A’ relay team, consisting of Price, Olafsdottir, Cline, and Goodrich, finished 4th with a time of 3:48.04.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

 * Women 200 Yard Medley Relay: The ‘A’ team (Olafsdottir, Petersen, Cline, and Price) finished 3rd overall with a time of 1:53.12.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

 * Kylie Price<\/a><\/dfn> (#5, Sophomore): Price added points by finishing 12th in the Women 50 Yard Butterfly (29.01) and 6th in the Women 200 Yard Freestyle (2:06.54).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

 * Lindsey Goodrich<\/a><\/dfn> (#7, Sophomore): Goodrich had top-10 finishes in both the Women 200 Yard IM (7th, 2:23.27) and the Women 200 Yard Butterfly (9th, 2:34.45).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Also competing for the Jimmies was Senior Abigail Martin<\/a><\/dfn><\/strong> who placed 8th in the Women 1000 Yard Freestyle (13:53.17) and 13th in the Women 50 Yard Backstroke (39.85); Freshman Emmery P. Wheeling <\/strong>finished 14th in the Women 200 Yard Backstroke (2:46.99) and 19th in the Women 200 Yard Freestyle (2:32.14); Junior Lauren Anderson<\/a><\/dfn> <\/strong>placed 16th in the Women 50 Yard Breaststroke (38.23) and 10th in the Women 200 Yard IM (2:49.86). <\/p>\n\n\n\n
