Jamestown (University of Jamestown) – The UJ womens swimming and diving team delivered a strong performance at The Knight Invite, hosted at the Jamestown High School pool on October 24-25, 2025. The Jimmies finished the competition in 2nd place overall, accumulating 789.5 points behind the University of Mary (993.5) and ahead of Northern State University (565).\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

TOP PERFORMERS AND EVENT WINNERS<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Jimmies secured one individual event win and a commanding presence in breaststroke and diving events.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Kailee Cline<\/a><\/dfn>: <\/strong>Claimed the Jimmies’ only individual victory of the day, winning the Women 400 Yard IM with a time of 4:59.88. She also secured a tie for 2nd place in the Women 100 Yard Butterfly (1:01.18).  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Kylie Price<\/a><\/dfn>: <\/strong>Was highly competitive in the sprints, finishing 4th place in the Women 200 Yard Freestyle (2:06.74). She also achieved a tie for 2nd place in the Women 100 Yard Freestyle (56.19).  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Dagbjorg Hlif Olafsdottir<\/a><\/dfn>: <\/strong>Was a top finisher in breaststroke and backstroke, placing 3rd in the Women 100 Yard Breaststroke (1:11.49) and 5th in the Women 100 Yard Backstroke (1:05.39).  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Sadie Hager<\/a><\/dfn>: <\/strong>Was the Jimmies’ top diver of the invite, placing 2nd in the Women 1m Diving event with a final score of 163.30.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Nicole Herzog<\/a><\/dfn>: <\/strong>Also had a strong diving performance, finishing right behind her teammate in 3rd place in the Women 1m Diving with a score of 136.30.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Emily Petersen<\/a><\/dfn>:<\/strong> Secured 4th place in the Women 100 Yard Breaststroke with a time of 1:12.19.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Lacie Robideau<\/a><\/dfn>: <\/strong>Finished 4th place in the Women 100 Yard Backstroke (1:05.21).  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Lindsey Goodrich<\/a><\/dfn>: <\/strong>Placed 4th place in the Women 100 Yard Butterfly (1:04.54) and 3rd place in the Women 400 Yard IM (5:10.50).  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Chea Baugh<\/a><\/dfn>: <\/strong>Finished 4th place in the Women 1000 Yard Freestyle (12:34.83) and 6th place in the Women 400 Yard IM (5:31.30).  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Bostyn Edwards<\/a><\/dfn>: <\/strong>Earned 6th place in the Women 100 Yard Breaststroke (1:13.72).  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

RELAY HIGHLIGHTS<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Jimmies secured top-three finishes in two of the most competitive relay events, emphasizing their collective speed:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Women 200 Yard Freestyle Relay: The ‘A’ team ( Kailee Cline<\/a><\/dfn>, Kylie Price<\/a><\/dfn>, Bostyn Edwards<\/a><\/dfn>, and Lindsey Goodrich<\/a><\/dfn><\/strong>) took 3rd place with a time of 1:45.35.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Women 400 Yard Medley Relay: The ‘A’ team (Dagbjorg Hlif Olafsdottir, Emily Petersen<\/a><\/dfn>, Kailee Cline<\/a><\/dfn>, and Kylie Price<\/a><\/dfn>)<\/strong> secured 2nd place with a time of 4:13.16.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Lauren Anderson<\/a><\/dfn><\/strong> finished 21st in the Women 100 Yard Freestyle (1:04.93).  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Abigail Martin<\/a><\/dfn><\/strong> placed 15th in the Women 200 Yard Freestyle (2:33.79) and 23rd in the Women 100 Yard Freestyle (1:12.81).  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Emmery Wheeling<\/a><\/dfn> <\/strong>finished 14th in the Women 200 Yard Freestyle (2:30.86) and 5th in the Women 1000 Yard Freestyle (13:56.83).  <\/p>\n\n\n\n
