Wilson Arena.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Jamestown jumped out to an early lead in the first period.&nbsp;<dfn><a href=\"https:\/\/jimmiepride.com\/sports\/achaw\/roster\/bekah-nickisch\/19088\">Bekah Nickisch<\/a><\/dfn>&nbsp;opened the scoring at 4:31, assisted by&nbsp;<dfn><a href=\"https:\/\/jimmiepride.com\/sports\/achaw\/roster\/bethany-wielgosh\/19098\">Bethany Wielgosh<\/a><\/dfn>. Just 53 seconds later,&nbsp;<dfn><a href=\"https:\/\/jimmiepride.com\/sports\/achaw\/roster\/jayden-baker\/19078\">Jayden Baker<\/a><\/dfn>&nbsp;made it 2-0, with an assist from&nbsp;<dfn><a href=\"https:\/\/jimmiepride.com\/sports\/achaw\/roster\/samantha-beaulac\/19083\">Samantha Beaulac<\/a><\/dfn>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Arizona State cut the lead in half with a power-play goal from Breanne Powell at 14:11. The Jimmies quickly responded when&nbsp;<dfn><a href=\"https:\/\/jimmiepride.com\/sports\/achaw\/roster\/mallory-docktor\/19095\">Mallory Docktor<\/a><\/dfn>&nbsp;scored unassisted at 14:47, giving Jamestown a 3-1 lead at the end of the first period.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After a scoreless second period, Arizona State mounted a comeback in the third. Kyly Laybolt scored unassisted at 9:53 , followed by Powell&#8217;s second goal of the game, also unassisted, at 17:40, to tie the game 3-3 and force overtime.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Jimmies secured the win early in the extra frame. An Arizona State tripping penalty just five seconds in gave Jamestown a power play, which Durand capitalized on for the win. Wielgosh and&nbsp;<dfn><a href=\"https:\/\/jimmiepride.com\/sports\/achaw\/roster\/mackenzie-couling\/19081\">Mackenzie Couling<\/a><\/dfn>&nbsp;were credited with the assists.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><dfn><a href=\"https:\/\/jimmiepride.com\/sports\/achaw\/roster\/lilah-drew\/19091\">Lilah Drew<\/a><\/dfn>&nbsp;earned the win in net for UJ, playing the full 61:39 and making 30 saves on 33 shots.
