Mandan ND (University of Jamestown) – After a scoreless first period, the Jimmies found their offensive spark in the second.\u00a0Cai Robinson<\/a><\/dfn>\u00a0broke the tie at the 3:59 mark, netting the eventual game-winning goal with an assist from\u00a0Brad Fortin<\/a><\/dfn>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

UJ’s offense took over in the third period, adding three more goals to seal the victory. James Hooton<\/a><\/dfn> scored an unassisted insurance goal at 6:29. Later, Matthew McIntyre<\/a><\/dfn> found the back of the net at 9:14, assisted by Carter Johnson<\/a><\/dfn>. Fortin capped off the scoring with a power-play goal at 18:30, with assists from Trey Stephenson<\/a><\/dfn> and McIntyre.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Jimmies outshot the Marauders 35-22 and went 1-for-4 on the power play. The penalty kill unit was perfect, neutralizing both of UMary’s power-play opportunities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jamestown travels to Liberty University for a pair of games on Thursday, November 6 and Friday, November 7.
