Jamestown ND (UJ) – The St. Cloud State wrestling team delivered a dominant performance on Friday night, shutting out the University of Jamestown 53-0 at Harold Newman Arena.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

St. Cloud State swept all ten weight classes, capitalizing on bonus points throughout the lineup. The dual began with a quick victory at 125 pounds as Benjamin Aranda pinned Jamestown’s Isaac Ronquillo<\/a><\/dfn> in 59 seconds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Huskies secured three other victories by fall during the meet. At 165 pounds, Gabriel Smith pinned Rocker Aguilar<\/a><\/dfn> in 1:43, and Brody Hart followed at 174 pounds with a fall over Colton Schaad<\/a><\/dfn> at the 3:46 mark. Cole Glazier recorded the fastest win of the night for St. Cloud State, pinning Hayden Ramaeker<\/a><\/dfn> in just 55 seconds at 184 pounds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

St. Cloud State also recorded four technical falls. Dominic Ducato (133 pounds) defeated Elijah Nose<\/a><\/dfn> 19-4, and Jayce Luna (141 pounds) won 17-1 over Kellan Larson<\/a><\/dfn>. Later in the dual, Joel Jesuroga earned a 19-2 tech fall over Maddox Campbell<\/a><\/dfn> at 157 pounds, while Tyson Meyer defeated Dane Hartmann<\/a><\/dfn> 15-0 at 197 pounds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The closest match of the evening came at 149 pounds, where St. Cloud State’s Jeroen Smith earned a 19-13 decision over Ethan Holstein<\/a><\/dfn>. The dual concluded at 285 pounds with Jadon Mims taking a forfeit victory.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jamestown is back in action at the Midwest Classic in Indianapolis, Ind., December 13-14.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
