Carol Connie McCoy, 84, Jamestown, ND died September 22, 2026, at Ave Maria Nursing Home.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Carol was born November 5, 1941, in Fredonia, N.D. to Martin and Rosie (Gehring) Grosz. She graduated from Kulm High School in 1959 and went on to Dakota Business School in Fargo, ND. She was then employed at James River National Bank in Jamestown. She married Noel E. McCoy on June 17th, 1962, and they made their home in Jamestown. She remained employed at the same bank for 40 years through 4 name changes James River National, First National, Norwest Bank, and Wells Fargo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Carol always loved sports. She played basketball for Kulm High School and went to many of her children’s and grandchildren’s sporting events to cheer them on. She was an avid fan of the Blue Jays, Jimmies, Twins, and Bison and was often in the bleachers at Blue Jays and Jimmies games.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She was active in St. Paul’s United Methodist Church, Sarah\u2019s Circle, and a Bible study group.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She loved spending time with family and friends. Her grandchildren were her pride and joy, and she loved it when they were around.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Carol is survived by her two children, Neal (Colleen) McCoy and Carmen (Al Jr.) Bender, Jamestown. Four Grandchildren, Nick and Erica McCoy and Caitlyn and Josh Bender, and great granddaughter Dove Noelle and her sister-in-law, Arva Dell Tahran.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She was preceded in death by her parents, Martin and Rosie Grosz, her husband Noel McCoy and brother-in-law, Elmo Tahran.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Funeral service is 10:30am Monday, September 28, 2026, at St. Paul’s United Methodist Church, Jamestown N.D.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Burial at Highland Home Cemetery, Jamestown, N.D.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
