Valley City (CSi) — The Valley City Area Chamber of Commerce has announced winners in the holiday drawings.<\/p>\n

1st<\/sup>: $250 Chamber Dollars Helen Sherlock<\/p>\n 2nd<\/sup>: $150 Chamber Dollars Deb Ross<\/p>\n 3rd<\/sup>: Apple TV Cindy Gabehart<\/p>\n 4th<\/sup>: Whirlpool Suite at AmericInn Duane Larson<\/p>\n \u3000<\/p>\n Snowman decorating contest winner: Dakota Plains Coop<\/p>\n Home decorating contest winners:<\/p>\n 1st<\/sup>:Scott & Susan Jorissen<\/p>\n 2nd<\/sup>” Gary & Carmen Yanish<\/p>\n 3rd<\/sup>: Norman Hansen<\/p>\n The Home Decorating winners will receive a photo of their home decorated in lights from Dutton\u2019s in Valley City.<\/p>\n With other Valley City events and activities Kay pointed out that Valley City will host the North Dakota Special Olympics Friday January 10, 2014, and Saturday January 11, 2014.<\/p>\n Over 150 Special Olympics athletes, children and adults with intellectual disabilities, and Unified Partners throughout North Dakota will compete in the two-day event for the chance to be a state champion.<\/p>\n Locations include the Valley City Recreation Center, Valley City Auditorium and at Metcalf Farms.<\/p>\n January 10th<\/sup><\/p>\n 10:00 a.m. Volunteer Registration opens @ VC Auditorium<\/p>\n 11:00 a.m. \u2013Opening Ceremony @ VC Auditorium<\/p>\n The complete schedule is posted on line at CsiNewsNow.com<\/p>\n Coming up on February 15, 16, 2014, Valley City will host the North Dakota State Pinocle Tournament.
