(AP) &#8211; A Linton-based power company says it is working to restore power to its customers in four south-central North Dakota counties.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 KEM Electric Cooperative says in a recorded telephone message that power was out Monday morning to its rural electric consumers in Emmons, Kidder, Logan and McIntosh counties.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The cooperative says it has located the problem and is working to fix it. The company says it did not have an estimated time when power would be restored.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The company says it provides electricity to one of the more sparsely populated areas in the state, with an average of 1.2 members per mile of power line.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) &#8211; Basin Electric has signed a power purchase agreement with a new wind project to be developed in South Dakota.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The project is co-owned by Fagen Inc. of Granite Falls, Minn., and the principals of Dakota Plains Energy in Aberdeen, S.D. It&#8217;s scheduled to go online by the end of 2015.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Dakota Plains Energy President Rob Johnson says the Campbell County wind farm will provide 98 megawatts of energy to nearly 30,000 homes in the Upper Midwest.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Basin&#8217;s announcement follows its November announcement to enter into two power purchase agreements for an additional 278 megawatts of wind power from projects in North Dakota.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Basin CEO and General Manager Andrew Serri says the projects will help bring the renewable portion of the company&#8217;s generating portfolio up to more than 1,100 megawatts.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>FARGO, N.D. (AP) &#8211; A California judge has ordered a second medical evaluation to determine whether a girl who is on life support following tonsil surgery is brain dead. The order calls for the 13-year-old (Jahi McMath) to be examined later today by Paul Fisher, the chief of child neurology at Stanford University School of Medicine. Doctors at Children&#8217;s Hospital in Oakland have concluded the girl is brain dead, but her family disputes that. Because he signed up in private, without reporters present, it was unclear whether Obama encountered any of the website glitches that millions of other Americans have experienced. Obama will continue receiving health care through the military. But when he signed the Affordable Care Act into law in 2010, the White House pledged Obama would personally participate. The stepfather hasn&#8217;t been arrested and it will be up to prosecutors to decide whether charges should be filed.
