(AP) &#8211; A man who appeared to win the Sioux<br \/>\nFalls Marathon was disqualified for running the wrong course.<\/p>\n<p>37-year-old Olok Nykew of St. Paul, Minn., registered for the full<br \/>\nmarathon and crossed the finish line first Sunday.<\/p>\n<p>But his time broke the race record by 25 minutes, and race officials determined that he had run only the half-marathon.<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The two races followed separate but sometimes overlapping routes<br \/>\nthrough South Dakota&#8217;s largest city before ending at the same<br \/>\nfinish line.<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Nykew calls it an honest mistake.
