\"jetstream_Robbery1\"<\/a>Jamestown (CSi)\u00a0 Law enforecment agencies Thursday evening were searching for an individual reportedly connected to a robbery at Jetsteam Car Wash<\/strong> on 10th Street, Southeast in Jamestown.<\/p>\n

Jamestown Police Department Major, John Johnson says the robbery was reported at 7:42 p.m. \u00a0No injuries were reported.<\/p>\n

He says no weapon was observed by the clerk on duty, with the suspect who entered the store \u00a0described as a male about 6-feet tall, wearing a tan Carhart short coat, blue jeans, dark colored gloves and a hood pulled over his head with the drawstring pulled tight.\u00a0 His face was covered.<\/p>\n

He asked for money and left the store, on foot through a nearby alley.<\/p>\n

No word\u00a0on the amount of money taken.<\/p>\n

\"jetstream<\/a>Agencies responding included\u00a0the Jamestown Police Department, the\u00a0Stutsman County Sheriff\u2019s Office and the North Dakota Highway Patrol, who immediately patrolled the area in a search effort, that lasted about 2 hours.<\/p>\n

\u00a0Jetstream Car Wash is just down the street from from\u00a0 Cenex store at the corner of Fourth Avenue and 10th Street Southeast,\u00a0that was robbed on December\u00a0 15th.<\/p>\n

Police would not speculate if the two robberies are connected.<\/p>\n

The investigation is continuing.<\/p>\n

Previously:\u00a0 The robbery\u00a0set social media a-buzz with comments and speculation Thursday evening.\u00a0 Early Facebook postings\u00a0 indicated the robbery had occurred but\u00a0incorrectly identified the\u00a0suspect as a women in a ski-mask, with a gun, escaping on a snowmobile.\u00a0<\/p>\n

While social media is fast, it is prone to embellishments and speculation as individuals pass along posts and add “what they heard”.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n
