News Sept 13, 2012)\u00a0 &#8212;<\/p>\n<p>In accordance with a directive from President Barack Obama, Governor Jack Dalrymple Thursday directed all state government agencies and encouraged all North Dakotans to fly the United States and North Dakota flags at half-staff until sunset, Sunday, September 16, 2012.<\/p>\n<p>The flags will be lowered as a mark of respect for the memory of John Christopher Stevens, U.S. Ambassador to Libya, and American personnel who were killed in Benghazi, Libya.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 In accordance with a second directive from the President, Dalrymple directed that the flags will also fly at half-staff on Friday, September 14, 2012\u00a0to honor the memory of Neil Armstrong, the American astronaut who became the first to walk on the moon.<\/p>\n<p>Armstrong passed away last month at the age of 82.<\/p>\n<p>Friday is the day of his interment.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>BISMARCK, ND\u00a0 (KCSi-T.V.
